The company Securitize has announced plans to integrate the Stellar network into its tokenization infrastructure, giving institutional asset managers another blockchain option for issuing and managing regulated financial products.
According to today’s announcement from the company, Stellar will become the 17th blockchain supported by Securitize, which provides tokenization and securities services to organizations such as BlackRock, Apollo and Hamilton Lane. The agreement was announced during Meridian 2026, a two-day conference hosted by the Stellar Development Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal.
The companies did not specify which financial products will be launched as part of the integration, nor did they name a completion date. Securitize described the agreement as a planned expansion, meaning it does not involve moving existing tokenized funds or shares onto the Stellar platform.
The goal of the integration is to allow asset managers to issue, administer and transfer tokenized financial instruments via Stellar while using Securitize’s existing securities infrastructure.
Its regulated subsidiaries provide brokerage, transfer agency and investment advisory services in the United States, as well as licensed securities operations in Europe. The network integration does not waive the investor eligibility, regulatory compliance or securities custody requirements that apply to individual financial products.
Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize, said that Stellar has, in the company’s view, developed the fourth-largest ecosystem for tokenized real-world assets.
“We are excited to integrate with the Stellar network and bring Securitize’s regulated infrastructure to an ecosystem that is already driving the adoption of tokenized financial products,” Domingo said.
The company said the partnership supports its multichain development strategy, which allows asset managers to choose networks according to their operational and distribution needs. The announcement did not disclose the deal value, deployment costs or expected contribution to revenue.
