To celebrate the sixth anniversary of Nine Chronicles, the game's development team is running its largest reward giveaway campaign in recent times. Over the next two months, more than 4 000 000 NCG will be distributed to players, who are referred to in the game as "adventurers."
The anniversary celebration takes place in two stages. The first wave of rewards is already available, and on October 20 a content update will be released, adding a second difficult world, a new anniversary dungeon, as well as permanent collections and titles.
The bulk of the rewards goes to the Arena. Out of more than 4 million NCG, 3.2 million will be distributed through the Arena — the game's competitive PvP mode, where players climb the rankings and earn seasonal rewards.
This allows for a focus purely on competition. Players who remain active in the Arena over the next two months will receive the largest share of the anniversary payouts.
The rest of the program covers several parts of the game. Doubled rewards increase payouts for the duration of the event. The Stage 500 mission rewards players for completing the current main campaign to the end, while monthly spending missions add rewards tied to in-game expenditures.
Growth boosters are designed to help players level up faster, which is especially important for new or returning accounts trying to catch up. The anniversary package also includes the Adventurer Rune — a base rune that players can upgrade as their character develops.
Taken together, these rewards are spread across competition, progression, and support systems rather than concentrated in any single mode, so most active players have the opportunity to take part.
