Strategy bought back STRC for $192.4 million and acquired a total of 250 BTC

The company Strategy spent $192.4 million on buying back its preferred shares STRC, while acquiring a total of 250 BTC for $21.5 million between 5 and 11 October.

According to the company's statement of 12 October, as a result of these transactions its bitcoin holdings increased to 848 250 BTC, acquired for approximately $64 billion, including commissions and expenses. The average price of the latest purchase was $86194 per coin, while the company bought back approximately 1.93 million of its variable-rate Series A preferred shares (STRC).

Strategy financed most of the cryptocurrency acquisition through the sale of common shares, while preferred share transactions continued under the company's existing capital management program.

Executive Chairman Michael Saylor confirmed the acquisition in a post on 12 October on the X platform, stating:

He reported that as of 11 October the company held 848250 BTC and assets worth approximately $5.5 billion.
